PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DC electric motor that prevents influence caused by counter electromotive force, and prevents torque from being reduced in a high- speed rotation region by increasing the number of turns of armature coil winding and by increasing the diameter of the coil winding without increasing an armature current. SOLUTION: A rectifying element is connected to armature coil winding, where the rectifying element allows current being supplied from a power supply to pass, and obstructs the current in an opposite direction. Each rectifying element is loaded into the slot of an armature core with the armature coil winding for fixing by resin. Also, each rectifying element may be fixed onto a substrate being fixed to an armature in a circumference direction at even intervals with the rotary center of the armature as a center. Two types of commutators for high and low speeds are provided, the commutator for low speed is used for supplying the armature current in low speed, and the commutator for high speed may be used for supplying the armature current via the rectifying element in high speed.
