PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a password input device with excellent safety and reliability by which a password is inputted without being known to others. SOLUTION: The input digits of the password are designated at random and the designated input digits are shown by the flickering display of an asterisk in four windows 2a, 2b, 2c and 2d on the screen of a liquid crystal display part 2. Whenever a numerical value is inputted by a key operating part 3, the display of the asterisk in each window 2a, 2b, 2c or 2d is successively changed-over from flickering into normal lighting. |
