The sealable handle is for a food container with a base (1) and a cover (2) which can be clipped together. The base and cover are aligned when closed and each have frontal projections (3a,b) to receive a seal (5) on the joint surfaces. The projections form a handle when closed together. The projections are slightly recessed with respect to a peripheral lip (4) on the container.
