PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication unit and communication method that can prevent its transmission efficiency from being deteriorated. SOLUTION: An error detection section 203 applies error detection processing to a demodulation signal from a reception section 202 and outputs error detection processing information to a memory 205. The memory 205 stores error detecting information. A transmission buffer section 206 decides a timing to send a transmission signal on the basis of the error detection information stored in the memory 205 and outputs the transmission signal to a transmission section 207 according to the decided timing.
