PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic motor driven vehicle that detects a rotation speed for each certain period of a hydraulic motor, prevents the hydraulic motor from exceeding an allowed rotation speed and damaging, and does not require a specific machining of an axle housing following the detection. SOLUTION: This vehicle includes a plurality of hydraulic motors 8 for rotating and driving a plurality of running wheels 7a, 7b. Each hydraulic motor 8 is mounted to an axle housing 13 for storing an axle 14 via a mounting member 15, a power transmission rotation shaft 16 for transmitting a rotation driving force from the hydraulic motor 8 to the axle 14 is connected to an output shaft 17 of the hydraulic motor 8 through a sleeve 18, a detecting gear body 24 having a plurality of teeth is provided on the outer peripheral surface of the sleeve 18, and the mounting member 15 is provided with a proximity switch 25 for detecting number of teeth of the rotary detecting gear body 24.
