LOCKING STRUCTURE OF CONNECTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector with a simple structure to detect locking. SOLUTION: When a lever 30 is turned to its normal position, a lock arm 35 provided on the side of the lever 30 engages with a lock section 25 provided on the side of an external housing 20, thereby both housings 10, 20 are held in such way that they cannot separate from each other. At the same time when an engagement claw 56 of a detector 50 built on the lock arm 35 hits an engagement surface 40 of an engagement section 38 on the side of the lock arm 35, the housings are blocked being pushed into each other and when such engagement condition is released, the housings are allowed to be pushed into each other in the same direction as the lever 30 is turned.
