PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cost effective illuminated signboard device which obscures the illumination unevenness of a signboard surface while the signboard device itself is thin, compact and light and is extremely simple and easy not only in manufacturing and mounting but in maintenance work such as cleaning. SOLUTION: This illuminated signboard device has a signboard frame which has fastening means to a wall surface, a signboard display surface plate consisting of a light transparent synthetic resin formed with a display surface part bulging forward from the peripheral edges fitted and fixed to the signboard frame and light sources for illumination disposed at the back of the signboard display surface plate, and is provided with the light sources for illumination in a back position corresponding to recessed grooves formed at the signboard display surface plate. Further preferably, a back plate, which consists of the light transparent synthetic resin formed with a plate body part building backward from the peripheral edges fitted and fixed to the signboard frame and is recessed with the grooves for housing the light source for illumination shaped to face the recessed grooves of the signboard display surface plate forward from the back, is disposed between the signboard display surface plate and the light sources for illumination.
