PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press connection terminal in which strength near a press connection part is improved. SOLUTION: Press connection parts 19 are formed of folding parts 18, which are made by folding expanded parts of both sidewalls 12 inwardly in a developed condition. Hence, a work where an opening should be made on a wall surface of a groove part as conventionally is not needed, so that strength near the press connection parts 19 can be improved. A core wire 26 of an electric wire 25 does not make contact with a terminal end portion, where a plate layer never exists but contacts an electric contact part 21 which is bent in a convex manner and is plated, so that reliability in an electrical connection can be heightened.
