PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a magnetic head capable of effectively radiating heat generated in a coil. SOLUTION: The magnetic head includes a 1st pole having a front end and a rear end, a 2nd pole having a front end and a rear end bonded to the rear end of the 1st pole and forming a yoke together with the 1st pole, an electrically conductive coil, part of which is disposed between the 1st and 2nd poles in the yoke and a dielectric heat conductive member layer formed next to the coil it such a way that heat can be conducted from the coil.
