PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain sanitary improvement by preventing the inside of a vending machine from becoming dirty by suppressing scattering of a beverage from a cup in the preparing process of the beverage. SOLUTION: In this cup mixing type automatic beverage vending machine, a cup is loaded on a cup conveying mechanism, raw materials and dilution hot water or ice are successively put into the cup in the middle of conveyance and after the beverage is prepared by stirring, the cup is sent to an article take-out port. A beverage preparing part 16 is provided with an ice shooter 8a drawn from an ice maker and a paddle 9a of an elevating type raw material stirring mechanism or the like, a hopper 15 for receiving ice discharged from the ice shooter and guiding it to a cup 7 is provided under the shooter and when vending a cold beverage, ice discharged from the ice shooter is held in the hopper and put into the cup 17 without scattering the beverage by opening the shutter of an actuator plate 9d with the paddle lowering operation of the raw material stirring mechanism.
