PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic vending machine which can effectively prevent a commodity from being nipped by a carry-out door and can surely detect a nipping even if the commodity is nipped. SOLUTION: Rails 28a, 28b and 28c which are installed on both sides of an opening for taking out a commodity in a main body case 2 and regulate the operations of the carry-out door 27 in the right/left direction and forward/ backward direction, rollers 29a, 29b, 30a, 30b, 32a and 32b which are installed in supporting metal fittings 27a and 27b and hold the rails 28a, 28b and 28c between them, a magnet 191 detecting that a commodity is sandwiched at the time of the close operation of the carry-out door 27 and a lead switch 190 are installed. Thus, a conventional guide member on which a part of the commodity is easily caught becomes unnecessary. The opening/closing operation of the carry-out door 27 becomes stable and the sandwiching of the commodity can effectively be prevented.
