The invention relates to a device for the production of masses which can be foamed, in particular of foamable masses by means of air or other gases, for moulded bodies, insulation materials or similar. The aim of the invention is to create a device for simpler and quicker production of foamable materials. Said device comprises a drive mechanism, mixing chamber with a mixing tool and optionally a post-mixing chamber, a material feed and a material discharge with a mould-extraction adapter. Said mixing tool comprises at least one stator/rotor pair, whereby the rotor disc is driven by a drive shaft connected to the drive mechanism. The rotor, stator and mixing chamber have one or more openings for transmitting the flow of material in the vicinity of the drive shaft, towards the post mixing chamber or the material discharge.
