SUBSTITUTED IMIDAZOLIDINONE DERIVATIVES

Compounds represented by general formula [I] wherein A to D represent each optionally substituted methine or nitrogen; E represents oxygen or sulfur; ( i) and (ii) represent each an optionally substituted mono- or bicyclic aliphati c nitrogen-containing heterocycle; R1 represents lower alkenyl, lower alkynyl, cyclo(lower)alkyl, lower alkanoyl, lower alkoxycarbonyl, optionally substituted lower alkyl, etc.; and R2 represents lower alkyl. Because of having an effect of stimulating muscarinic acetylcholine receptor M4, these compounds are useful as analgesics for painful diseases such as cancerous pain, hemicrania, gout, chronic rheumatism, chronic pain or neuralgia, and drugs for treating tolerance to narcotic analgesics typified by morphine, addiction to narcotic analgesics typified by morphine, itching, dementia, irritable bowel syndrome, schizophrenia, glaucoma, frequent urination/urinar y incontinence, gallstone/cholecystitis, functional dyspepsia or reflux esophagitis.
