<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the size of a coil and lighten the weight thereof by arranging the coil for exciting a motive force transmitting clutch of a cooler for a vehicle vertically with respect to a compressor driving shaft to cause the coil to approach the device shaft. CONSTITUTION:When an electric current is supplied to the coil 4 for exciting the clutch through an electric wire 11, an exiting core 9 becomes a magnetic pole, and a magnetic force is first given to a magnetic force transmitting pulley 3 and excited. A magnet is formed by a controlling spring 10 for restorations in the compressor drive transmitting part 6, the contact portion 5 of the pulley 3 and a an exciting core 9, and a magnetic force acts between the contact portion 5 of the pulley 3 and the drive transmitting part 6 and a mutual attractive force is applied thereto. In this case, since coil 4 is positioned in the perpendicular direction to the drive shaft 1 for the compressor, the coil 4 approaches the drive shaft 1, and hence the number of winding of the coil 4 can be reduced.</p> |
