Interior lining parts for cars consisting of a backing substrate (20), a layer of elastomeric material (22) and a soft outer skin of polyolefin material (24), in which layer (24) is bonded with layer (22) and hardened by electron beam radiation. Independent claims are also included for: (a) a process for the production of a soft skin for the above application by hardening an outer layer of polyolefin material with electron beam radiation; (b) a process as in (a) which gives a soft skin with good scratch resistance, no covering layer and acceptable gloss control, using polyolefin material containing no crosslinking catalysts.
