METHOD FOR TRANSMITTING BROADCASTING MESSAGE IN MOBILE COMMUNICATION SERVICE

PURPOSE: A method for transmitting a broadcasting message in a mobile communication service is provided to stably and efficiently operate a paging channel of a mobile communication system by dividing the broadcasting message and transmitting the divided broadcasting messages. CONSTITUTION: If a broadcasting message to be transmitted from a BTS(Base Transceiver Station) is a broadcasting message corresponding one slot size on a paging channel, a message sequence bit is '0' and the broadcasting message is transmitted to a transport layer(20) using a relay layer-broadcasting data indication primitive in a primitive type of a relayer layer(30) and the transport layer(20). If the broadcasting message is a message of a size incapable of being transmitted as one slot on the paging channel, the BTS variably divides a message size into a set number according to the transmission possibility degree of the broadcasting message and transmits the divided broadcasting messages.
