The method uses a vehicle (3) traveling inside a pipe or duct, with a distributor. The vehicle is connected to a coating medium tank via a flexible pipe section (4). It is drawn through the pipe so that a rotating distributor (18) with outlet opening (29) coats the pipe interior. Separate product and supply lines (20,21,22) are securely held inside the flexible pipe by a highly flexible tube with air-tight sealed covers, which absorbs tensile forces.
