Measuring demodulator and modulation fault meter for digital modulated reception signals

The modulation fault meter comprises a reception filter (1) followed by demodulator (2) for fault compensation and determining the ideal symbol scanning values. The determination uses a reference filter (13). The weighted measuring signal is evaluated in a following evaluation circuit (4,5). The demodulator output signal is fed to the evaluation circuit via a measuring filter (12). The weighting filter function is formed by the filter functions of the serially effective reception and measuring filters.
