The marking alignment system determines the coordinates of a first set of markings applied to the body of the patient (P) in a first coordinate system (K1) and the coordinates of a second set of markings within a medical image relative to a second coordinate system (K2). The sequence of the markings within each set is determined using the spacings between the markings, for aligning the markings within both sets with one another. |
