The invention relates to a filling device for bulk material or fibrous material, especially for blow-in insulating material. The inventive device serves for supplying the bulk material or fibrous material to a conveying device, especially a fan unit. A transport line can be connected to said conveying device. A discharge device for the bulk material or the fibrous material is provided. The discharge device is mounted to or on a weighing device. A filling shaft is arranged downstream in relation to the discharge device and in the discharge direction. The filling shaft leads to the conveying device. In a preferred embodiment, the inventive filling device is arranged on a lorry or another means of transport. The filling device can be operated in an advantageous manner by one user only and the processed bulk or fibrous material amount can be continually determined in an exact manner.
