An application compares TOC data received from a CD player with TOC data in attribute data stored on an attribute list, judges for agreement with each other, and, if agreement is not judged, displays an attribute data table on a monitor. A user judges whether or not a title or the like is to be input, and, if title inputting is judged, inputs associated information such as a title. The application has the input associated information stored on the attribute list so that the associated information is stored in conjunction with identification data of a recording medium.
