<p>A process for efficiently producing adrenomedulin in a large amount. This process is characterized by involving the following steps: (A) the step of producing a fused protein composed of an addition protein, a linker peptide and an adrenomedulin precursor by using a recombinant; (B) the step of subjecting the fused protein to restricted digestion with a protease to obtain a precipitate containing the adrenomedulin precursor; and (C) the step of dissolving the precipitate obtained in the step (B) in a solvent to thereby extract the adrenomedulin precursor free from any contaminants.</p> |
