<p>A device (1), such as a dictation microphone, comprises speech signal input means (3) and speech signal digitizing means (6) and control signal input means (7) and control signal digitizing means (14) and digital signal processing means (17), and transmitter means (21) for transmitting processed digital signals (DVS, DCS) in cordless fashion to receiving means (24) of a base station (2) and advantageously also includes storage means (32) which are connected upstream of the transmitter means (21) and by which, in case of a non-perfect communication link between the device (1) and the base station (2), processed digital signals (DVS, DCS) to be supplied and to be transmitted between the device (1) and the base station (2) are buffered.</p> |
