The positioning appliance for a mold has a height-adjustable plate (9) insertable into a bottom part. The plate has a mold-support (10) adjustable along the plate's plane. The support has three support points (15,18) corresponding to the plane of the HIP plane. The support is in the form of an angle-piece one arm (10a) of which forms a plate , and the other arm (18) protrudes upwards to form a hamulus support for the mold (6). A pin (15) points upwards as extra support point.
