The installation component for a sanitary fitting has vertical struts (10,11) of quadrilateral tubes. A lateral strut is mounted to their upper ends as a head beam (2) of plate bent into a U-shape. A threaded drilling (201) is at the ends of the head beam (2), at the U-leg towards the wall, to take the screw bolt of a wall mounting strap (30) if required.
