Material primarily for marine garments

A composite laminate material for making up into marine garments such as et or dry-suits comprises a waterproof layer of Neoprene and outer abrasion resistant layer containing Kevlar and Lycra and an inner layer of polyester or nylon fabric. The layers are adhesive bonded together. The abrasion resiant layer may comprise 25 % Kevlar; 5 % Lycra and 70 % polyamide. The material is particularly robust for use in aggressive environments such as caving.
