The device for rendering immovable caravans, trailers, horse boxes and similar is provided with a blocking pin and components (21,22) for fixing it to the vehicle to be secured. The pin is releasably connected to the fixture components. The fixed pin extends beneath the trailer downwards in order to prevent the coupling of a towing vehicle or the movement of the trailer. The releasable connection between the blocking pin and the fixture components is securable by means of a lock. The fixture components comprise a first and a second fixture unit, the first being fitted on the second under a chassis part of the trailer, such as a baseplate (23). Each fixture component has a flange (7) and the second component has a pipe (6) extending vertically to the flange. The pipe extends through an aperture (25) in the chassis part of the trailer upwards.
