<p>Seat framework comprises blocking mechanism maintaining upper part (11). Teeth (30), fingers (31), handle (32), sleeve (33) and spring (34) form maneuvering mechanism (35) allowing regulation of inclination of upper part of seat framework relative to lower part (10). Inclination can be adjusted between (a) first angular position, where fingers are near first end (15) of groove (14), and (b) second angular position, where fingers are near second end (16) of groove. If vehicle is hit from the back when upper part of seat framework is not in second angular position, teeth is progressively crushed with fingers moving towards second end of groove, until upper part is moved until second angular position. If vehicle is hit when upper part is already in second angular position, upper part is then in optimal position to protect passenger.</p> |
