A heating circuit comprising at least two heating banks 32,34/84,86,88, each heating bank comprising a plurality of heating elements 44/82 electrically connected in parallel, the heating banks being electrically connected together in series. The heating elements may extend substantially horizontally vertically over the vehicle window between bus bars 36,38,40/90,92,94,96 said elements being formed from screen printed heat-resistant conductive ink on the glass or conductive wires contacting the interlayer of a laminated vehicle window. The heating circuits have relatively low power density (relatively high resistance) when operated at high voltages eg greater than 30 v. |
