Certain primary mono-fatty acid esters of glycerol self-condensation products are new. Primary mono-fatty acid esters of formula (I)-(VI) of glycerol self-condensation products are new. R<1> = 1-22C alkyl and/or alkenyl; a, b, p, q, r, s, t and u = 0-8, with only p or q being 0 in the case of compound (IV); and n and m = 1-8.
