PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat plate roof tile which can prevent treading breakage due to walking load of a worker to roof tile bodies superposed one on the other. SOLUTION: In this flat plate roof tile where plural roof tile bodies 2 which have a nail hole 4 for passing a roof nail 3 and are fixed to a roof board 5 by passing the roof nail 3 through the nail hole 4 are arranged side by side in the horizontal direction, and laid in the vertically overlapping manner, a nail head storing recessed part 6 is formed to be lower than the other parts of the roof tile body surface 2d in the nail hole peripheral part forming the nail hole.
