PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal glass ball, and a method and a device for manufac turing the metal glass ball in which the grain size of individual particles can be extensively and artificially controlled, and the metal glass ball close to the true sphere and controlled in grain size can be stably mass-produced. SOLUTION: In this metal glass ball manufacturing method, a molten metal melted in a container having a heater is ejected toward a recovery part having an inert atmosphere located therebelow as its droplets by a piston connected to a piezoelectric actuator to generate a specified displacement from orifices in an orifice plate having a plurality of the orifices, and cooled at the cooling speed not less than a critical cooling speed in the inert gas atmosphere of the recovery part.
