PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve fuel consumption saving effect by collecting energy without giving passengers uncomfortable feeling in an air conditioner for a vehicle collecting vehicle deceleration energy by increasing cooling capacity of a cooling heat exchanger during vehicle deceleration. SOLUTION: A decrementΔTEO of a target evaporator blow off temperature TEO during vehicle deceleration is set up as getting lower as a target air flow amount BLW is set up from Lo to Hi with considering that more largely a blow off temperature TA to a passenger compartment fluctuates, more uncomfortable passengers feel, and that a maximum fluctuation that passengers do not feel uncomfortable with varies based on an air flow amount of blow off air into the passenger compartment. The decrementΔTEO, therefore, can be set larger in the case that the air flow amount is small and fuel consumption saving effect is obtained without giving passengers uncomfortable feelings.
