PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular damper with a car height adjusting function excellent in the assembly property to a vehicle and with a low cost. SOLUTION: By providing a cylindrical pressure case 9 connected to a damper rod 2 so as to move vertically on the outside of the damper main body 1 of a handstand type damper, a pressure chamber 10 enclosed the pressure medium by which a gas is changed to a liquid is formed between the damper main body 1 and pressure case 2. An electric heater 11 for evaporating by heating the pressure medium in the pressure chamber 10 is provided and the electrification to the electric heater 11 is controlled by a car height detection switch 17 installed on the damper rod 2.
