PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rack which can efficiently and easily wire cables laterally among plural racks arranged laterally and wire cables guided to the inside of the racks along the inside of a side plate efficiently and with good appearance. SOLUTION: This rack 1 has right and left side plates 2, 3 and shelf boards 5, 6, 7 or a top plate 4 fitted between both the plates. Recessed grooves 10, 11 extending in the longitudinal direction as a longitudinal wiring guide part are formed in the opposite inside surfaces of the both side plates, and the side plates are provided with cutouts 20, 21 as lateral wiring passing parts which are opened to the inside surface and outside surface and opened to the recessed grooves and the rear ends of the side plates.
