PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roof board transporting jig capable of easily moving a roof board to a mounting site, and a roof board transporting method for transporting the roof board by use of the roof board transporting jig. SOLUTION: A plurality of lines of fixtures 4 are mounted on a roof board mounting part. A roof board transporting jig 5 comprises a roof board transporting stand 6 for placing a roof board 1 thereon, and a traveling part 7 mounted on the roof board transporting stand 6. The traveling part 7 is movable over and along the lines of fixtures 4.
