PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a working machine designed to efficiently deal with the stems of lotus roots. SOLUTION: This working machine has such a scheme that the front end portion of the traveling vehicle body is mounted with a device for mowing down the stems of lotus roots so as to ensure such stems thus mowed down to be cut with a stem cutter in the mud soil where the lotus roots are cultivated.
