PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas-liquid mixing apparatus capable of significantly increasing the solubility of a gas by producing bubbles of the gas with a diameter so ultrafine as to scarcely visible and dissolving the bubbles in water in a short time. SOLUTION: The gas-liquid mixing apparatus is provided with a gas-liquid mixing cylinder 1, a driving part 2 and a gas supply means 3 and is so composed as to compress water flowing into the mixing cylinder and bubbles of a gas supplied from a gas supply pipe 9 by rotating rotary blades 6 having guide vanes 7 in a mixing cylinder 4 and diffusing the water current containing the bubbles outward from the bubble diffusion hole 8a in a bubble diffusion region 8 while moving downward along the inner circumferential face of the mixing cylinder 4.
