PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect a watertight device from flowing water including earth/sand and gravel by installing a second watertight device in a floodgate door of a gate device. SOLUTION: In a gate device arranged in the middle of a waterway, a floodgate door is arranged on a base body of this gate device so as to be movable in the vertical direction, a watertight device for cutting off flowing water when this floodgate door lowers is arranged in this floodgate door, and a second watertight device for restraining the flowing water mixed with earth/sand is arranged in the floodgate door in the lower direction of the watertight device.
