PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a post form jib crane of simple configuration capable of rotating a column relating to a post and reducing a cost and weight. SOLUTION: The post form jib crane 1 is equipped with a column 3 to support a traversing rail 4 and a post 2 supporting the column 3 rotatably, and at the bottom of the column 3 a sprocket 18 coupled with a motor 17 fitted with a speed reducer is installed facing the upper periphery of the post 2, and an engagement projection 16 is formed at the upper periphery of the post 2, and a roller chain 15 is set over between the sprocket 18 and the upper periphery of the post 2 and is fixed at the projection 16.
