GARBAGE DEWATERING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garbage dewatering device having a high draining capacity and a high retainability of the draining capacity. SOLUTION: A garbage dewatering device 10 is provided with a garbage inlet 20 and a water outlet 24 formed on the case 18. A conveyer 26 which lifts and carries the mixture of water and solid is installed in the case 18. The conveyer 26 lifts and carries the solid mixture on a tilted screen 28 by moving scrapers 30. The screen 28 is made of a mesh punching-plate. The bottom plate 32 of the screen 28 comprises a downward inclined part 52 to be in contact with the case 18 between the garbage inlet 20 and the water outlet 24, a circular arc part 54 along a track formed by the ends of the scrapers 30 and an upward inclined part 56 along the lower track of a chain 40. When the mixture charged into a water and solid mixing vessel 48 is lifted and carried on the screen 28 by the scrapers 30, the water is transferred to a water discharging vessel 50.
