FINAL WASTE DISPOSAL SITE ON SOFT GROUND AND CONSTRUCTING METHOD THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a final waste disposal site which can be constructed even on soft ground which is not firm enough to construct a conventional final waste disposal site, and to provide its construction method. SOLUTION: This final waste disposal site is provided with soil cement columns 13 formed in such a way as to penetrate down to a foundation layer 11 at a plurality of parts over almost all the area of soft ground, surface-layer improved ground 14 formed in such a way that the surface layer of almost all the area of the soft ground 12 is so replaced with the soil cement as to be continuous to the top ends of the soil cement columns and a waste shielding layer 15 constructed on the surface-layer improved ground.
