PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a gas treating device transportable without making the structure of the device complex and without increasing the weight of the device. SOLUTION: In the transportable apparatus for cleaning soil equipped with a kiln which heats polluted soil and separates pollutants from the soil and gas treating devices (a) which treat gas containing the pollutants from the kiln in turn to remove the pollutants from the gas, each device (a) is composed of a device body aH which makes the gas flow vertically to be treated and a frame aF for supporting the body aH, and each body aH is divided into a plurality of vertical stages.
