SELF-EXTINGUISHING AND FLAME RETARDANT SHEET AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet which shows self-extinguishing properties and high flame retardancy and further, is free from the generation of halogen gas or phosphoric gas with a small residual ash content as well as a method for manufacturing the sheet. SOLUTION: This self-extinguishing and flame retardant sheet is formed of a trace ash content composition obtained by blending 100 pts.wt. solid content of an urethane resin organic solvent solution containing a resin solid content of 10-70 wt.% with 20-200 pts.wt. dicyandiamide. A thermoplastic resin film is laminated on at least one of the faces of the sheet. At the same time, a method for manufacturing the self-extinguishing and flame retardant sheet is provided.
