<p>A device for fastening a lamp on a surface, whereby a frame (1) of the lamp is provided with a round opening, a fastening plate (9) being turnably secured on said opening. In order to enable turning of angular lamps in particular into a desired position before the final fastening, the frame of known devices is provided with elongated holes for fastening screws. A disadvantage of such holes is that water easily gets inside the lamp through said holes. The possibility of turning the lamp can be retained without losing the waterproofing, if the frame is provided with a conical projection (7) and the fastening plate (9) with a sealing surface (15) roughly following said projection, whereby the coning angle of said sealing surface differs from that of the projection (7), said surface being of a resilient material.</p> |
