PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To be applicable to a low vehicle speed and reduce driving force fluctuation, when an engine assists in backward traveling by using a planetary gear device. SOLUTION: As shown by a dashed line, a motor generator connected to a carrier 'C' is rotated and driven in a reverse direction to carry out backward traveling. When higher torque is required by a driver, as shown by an actual line, an engine connected to a sun gear 'S' is operated, and a brake B1 disposed between a ring gear 'R' and a case is slip-engaged. Thereby, assist torque Te×(1-ρ)/ρcorresponding to engine torque Te is added to the carrier 'C'. |
