PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supporting structure of a rubber string in a filing tool, with which the cutting cause of the rubber string is avoided and the end part regions of the rubber string for being hitched in fixing holes can be easily formed. SOLUTION: Two fixing holes 16 are provided in the lid body 14 of a case file 10. Both the ends of a rubber string 18 are piercingly fixed to the fixing holes 16. Passing the intermediate regions of the rubber string 8 on the rear surface die corner regions of case main body 12 checks the opening of the lid body 14. The rubber string 18 is equipped with larger diameter parts 21 provided at both the ends of the string main body 20 and hitching parts 22 for hitching in the neighborhood of the fixing holes 16 provided at the tips of the larger diametral parts 21. The larger diametral part 21 is provided larger in diameter than the fixing holes 16 and inserted in so as to plug the fixing hole 16. The larger diametral parts 21 and the hitching parts 22 are molded integral with the string main body 20.
