PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily detect sleeve length with precision without moving a hot plate upward/downward even if length of a shirt sleeve part is varied so as to suitably finish the sleeve part. SOLUTION: In a shirt sleeve finishing device pressing a shirt sleeve part X put on a sleeve stand 41 by means of a hot plate 10, a lower side end edge 10e of the hot plate 10 is inclined and lowered gradually in the advancing direction to the hot plate 10 side in the sleeve stand 41 so as to be set approximately parallelly to a sleeve seam S between the sleeve part X and a body part Y of the shirt put on the sleeve stand 41. On the sleeve stand 41 side, an elevation regulating means, which can be stopped and freely released in an optional height position according to the position of the sleeve seam S, is arranged, while a contact means 30 is provided in a device main body 1, and the elevation regulating means is brought into contact with the contact means 30 in the position in which the sleeve seam S is substantially matched with the lower side end edge 10e of the hot plate 10. When the elevation regulating means is brought into contact with the contact means 30, a reciprocating means is stopped.
