PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheelchair that can be made lightweight and inexpensive. SOLUTION: A side plate 56 is journaled on the L-shaped pipe 24 a body frame 20, and either of a plurality of through holes 56b formed in the side plate 56 is selected and screwed to the back seat pipe 34 of a back seat frame 30 by means of a bolt 62A having a hexagonal hole, to thereby adjust the angle of the back seat frame 30. Thus, the number of part items is reduced whereby this wheelchair can be light in weight and manufactured at reduced cost.
