PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shikibuton (Japanese mattress) which is hardly set due to many years of used and is capable of obtaining a high cushion property and heat retaining property even after many years of use. SOLUTION: The shikibuton is constituted of an upper-layer futon part 12, a lower-layer futon part 13, and a futon core material 14 arranged between the part 12 and 13. The inside of the futon core material 14 is partitioned into a plurality of spherical-body filled chambers 26 in the shape of, for example, a measure, and spherical bodies 20 are filled inside each spherical-body filled chamber 26. As a large air layer is formed inside the futon core material 14 by the spherical bodies 20, it is possible to obtain a high heat retaining property.
